

David Chavez began his construction career as a laborer for Artcraft Construction in February 1981. By May 1981, he had become an apprentice finisher, and from there a finisher by May 1983.
The Concrete Division of Artcraft was purchased by Jerry Barnier in July 1985 and the name was changed to Suntec Concrete Constructors Inc. David made the transition to Suntec and became a finish foreman in August 1985. In 1987, he was promoted to finish superintendent and in 1995, he became a Vice President and Managing Partner.
David oversees all concrete finishing crews and pour scheduling of the company. He is a trustee for Employees Profit Sharing Plan. David is involved in the majority of jobs performed by Suntec.
