SUNTEC RECEIVES THE HIGHEST GRADE POSSIBLE FROM THE ARMY CORPS OF ENGINEERS FOR AN ONSITE SAFETY INSPECTION.Posted: 04/30/10
April 30, 2010 To: Todd Breuer Project Manager Suntec Concrete From: John Barrett Onsite Safety Manager D.L. Withers Construction RE: Army Corps of Engineers Safety Walk Mr. Breuer On April 22, 2010, a Safety Walk occurred at the Davis Monthan Fire/Crash Rescue Station. Attending the Walk were representatives from D.L. Withers Construction, and the Safety Manager for the Western Region of the Army Corps of Engineers (ACOE), Daryl Fust. Throughout the Walk, Mr. Fust indicated how happy he was with the level of safety exhibited by not only D.L. Withers Construction, but the subcontractors working onsite as well. When the Walk was completed, Mr. Fust indicated that this site had received the highest grade possible from the Army Corps of Engineers for an onsite inspection. On April 29, 2010, the weekly jobsite meeting took place. During this meeting, the results of the Walk were again reiterated by ACOE. Additionally, ACOE indicated they were pleased with the safety efforts exhibited by Suntec Concrete. Our customer the Air Force and our Construction Representative for the Corp told us how the job was left so clean and how safe the site was. Finally, please do not hesitate to share this message with any Suntec employees associated with this project. Sincerely, John Barrett Onsite Safety Manager D.L. Withers Construction |
